Bashkortostan joined "Lean Government" pilot project

UFA, 6 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed an order to conduct a "Lean Government" pilot project to introduce principles of sustainable production in certain state bodies of the republic.
The experiment is conducted in order to improve the state administration system, ensure implementation of the Social and Economic Development Strategy of Bashkortostan until 2030 and achieve its targets.
According to the document, lean manufacturing principles will be implemented in the Government RB Office, in the republican ministries: of Housing and Utilities, Health, Land and Property Relations, Forestry, Nature Management and Ecology, Agriculture, Economic Development, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection of Population , as well as in the State Committee for Housing and Construction Supervision, the State Committee of RB for IT Development, the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the State Committee for Architecture, the State Committee for Transport and Roads RB.
The order establishes a Coordination Council for the pilot project implementation in Bashkortostan and approved its composition. The Coordination Council was instructed to take measures to form a management system, develop and implement projects using lean methods and tools.
Earlier the prospects for the republic's participation in the Lean Government project were discussed at the meeting of Rustem Khamitov with the head of the project of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom Vladimir Arzhentsov.
The "Lean Government" federal pilot project was developed with the assistance of the state corporation "Rosatom". It is aimed at optimizing production processes by eliminating inefficient time costs, creating a lean culture and increasing labor productivity in executive bodies of state power. In addition to Bashkortostan, the project involves Adygea, North Ossetia-Alania, Kirov and Ryazan regions, and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
