Volunteer Year is launched in Bashkiria

UFA, 5 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The Year of Volunteer approved by a decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, was launched In Bashkiria. The campaign was attended by more than 10 thousand Ufa residents, among them about 60 volunteers of the third age.

Only in 2017 the volunteers of the republic took part in organizing and holding such major events as the Hockey Star Week, the regional youth educational forum "Smart Tau", the international educational forum "Türkic Gold 2017", the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students and others.

Prominent public and political figures, well-known musicians, among them the State Duma deputy of the Russian Federation, the head of the expert group of the State Duma on improving legislation in charity and volunteering sphere Ramzil Ishsarin, congratulated the volunteers on the significant event.

It was organized by an initiative group of volunteers headed by Timur Gadelshin. The program included performances by popular music groups - Karavan Saray, Argymak, Light Again, Zainetdin, as well as solo performances by Ekaterina Yamshchikova, Firuza Paris.

President Vladimir Putin announced that 2018 will be the Year of Volunteer in Russia at the awarding ceremony of the "Volunteer Russia-2017" Prize.

Four volunteers from Bashkortostan became laureates of the All-Russian competition "Volunteer Russia-2017": Elnara Badalova (nomination "Event Volunteering", first prize), Alfina Mambetova (nomination "Social Volunteering", first place), Evelina Kholodova (nomination "Volunteer Victory ", second place), Ekaterina Savelieva (nomination" Third Age Volunteering ", third place).
