Rustem Khamitov discussed human potential development in Bashkiria with scientists of Higher School of Economics

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with scientists from the Independent Institute of Social Policy of the Higher School of Economics Lilia Ovcharova and Natalia Zubarevich. They discussed the development of human potential in the republic from the point of view of health, education, family, labor and employment.

Lilia Ovcharova is a director of the Independent Institute for Social Policy, research institutes and centers of the Higher School of Economics, a well-known specialist in Russia in the field of social development and social and economic policy.

Natalia Zubarevich is a director of the regional program of the Independent Institute for Social Policy, the chief research officer of the Center for Income and Living Standards Analysis of the Institute of Social Policy, Higher School of Economics, and a leading specialist in the field of social and economic development of the regions in Russia.

During the meeting, proposals for joint analytical work were announced. The head of the region stressed that the republic was very interested in them.

"Certainly, the Republic of Bashkortostan is a significant, large entity of the Russian Federation, reliable, quite stable on many parameters. But at the same time, we understand that there can be other opportunities for development. It is possible to form differently both our management environment and management system basing on science approach", said Rustem Khamitov.
