Rustem Khamitov: "Our republican achievements made great impression on President"

UFA, 26 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov told reporters that the visit of the Russian President to the republic was very successful, and Vladimir Putin left Ufa in quite good spirits.

Rustem Khamitov said that during a conversation with the President, issues of social and economic development of the republic, modernization of industrial production were discussed. In particular, the issues of construction of a gas processing complex costing 150-180 billion rubles, providing federal co-financing support for building the oncology dispensary building and modernization of the cardiac dispensary were touched upon. The head of state supported these ideas.

"Certainly, when we visited UMPO, he had a sense of pride that our Russian enterprises produced such high-tech products, aircraft engines. This was repeatedly said, and it felt that the President really liked all that," said Rustem Khamitov. "Our republican achievements, achievements of our residents made a great impression on the President. Vladimir Vladimirovich mentioned during his speeches that our republic made good impression both in terms of economy and in terms of social development. Of course, we were pleased to hear this. But this requires further, even more determined efforts. This is our responsibility."

According to the Head of the Republic, interests of people are in the first place for Vladimir Putin.
