Konstantin Tolkachev discussed development of e-education with first deputy chairman of State Duma Committee for Education and Science

UFA, 26 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev held a working meeting with the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science Oleg Smolin.
According to the State Duma deputy, the development of electronic education, which has great prospects, is considered quite seriously in Bashkortostan.
The Chairman of the State Assembly RB noted that, in the opinion of experts, in a few years, not classical universities would issue education documents, but Google, Facebook and other electronic resources:
"We need the earliest possible provision of educational standards and e-learning programs, their regulation at the state level," said the Speaker of the regional parliament.
The meeting also discussed the quality of education in rural schools. Konstantin Tolkachev said that a relevant working group was set up in the State Assembly.
"All children should have equal opportunities to receive quality education. This is a strategic task both in the republic and nationwide. One of the main problems of rural schools is shortage of subject teachers. There are a lot of cases when teachers of humanitarian subjects teach physics or chemistry in small schools. Of course, such combination of disciplines makes it difficult to talk about the quality of education. In the modern world, all branches of knowledge are being updated very quickly. As a result, often not only school, but even high school education does not keep pace with the technology development. Skills should be constantly improved to be competitive in the labor market. We need well-trained school leavers, which will able to improve themselves afterwards", said Konstantin Tolkachev.
