Bashkir branch of United Russia will support Vladimir Putin’s nomination at pre-election congress in Moscow

UFA, 22 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. On Friday, December 22, the 17th congress of the "United Russia" party opened at VDNKh in Moscow, the main topic of which will be the elections of the President of the Russian Federation on March 18, 2018. Bashkiria is represented at the party forum by 18 elected delegates. The delegation is headed by the Head of Bashkortostan, member of the Supreme Council of United Russia Rustem Khamitov.

Among the delegates from the republic are representatives of Ufa, Salavat, Beloretsk, Mechetlino, Gafuri, Bizhbulyak, Baltachevo, Zilair, Ilishevo, Davlekanovo, Belebey, Buraevo and other districts. They are representatives of various professions - teachers, doctors, heads of rural settlements, business leaders and cultural workers.

About 2,500 participants and guests, including 455 delegates from 85 regional offices of United Russia, heads of ministries and departments, deputies of the State Duma, representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the regions, secretaries of regional political councils of United Russia, members of the expert and the scientific community take part in the congress.

On the first day of the work, seven discussion panels will be held, at which the results of the first year of the Party Program implementation will be summed up and the plans for the next year will be outlined. The ministers of the Government of the Russian Federation will address and answer the questions of the participants in the sections.

The first day will be finished with a meeting of the Commission for monitoring the pre-election program implementation under the leadership of the Chairman of United Russia, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The Commission will discuss the implementation of all sections of the program.

On the second day a plenary session will be held, at which Dmitry Medvedev will make a keynote speech on the priority tasks for the near future. In addition, scheduled rotation of the Supreme and General Councils of the party will take place and changes to the Charter will be adopted. On the same day, a meeting of the General Council will be held in an updated composition.
