These are the data of the Central Election Commission of Russia. The information was announced at a meeting of the CEC of Russia on December 18. The Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Ella Pamfilova on Monday at a meeting of the commission launched a countdown of the time left before the election of the head of state.

Vladimir Putin will take part in his fourth presidential election as a self-nominated candidate. Earlier, Vladimir Putin was elected from the "United Russia" party. United Russia has already said that they will support Putin in every possible way and will take part in gathering for him necessary 300 thousand voters' signatures, TASS reports.

One of the founders of the Yabloko party Grigory Yavlinsky and the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky announced their readiness to run for the elections before the start of the campaign. The Chairman of the Party of Growth Boris Titov, political scientist, head of the Center for Social Technologies Andrei Bogdanov, TV host Ksenia Sobchak, chairperson of the Women's Dialogue party Elena Semerikova, businessman Sergey Polonsky, singer and human rights activist Ekaterina Gordon, as well as some public figures unknown to a broad audience.
