Rustem Khamitov met with State Duma deputies and Federation Council members from Bashkortostan

UFA, 1 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov met with members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma of Russia from Bashkortostan. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB Konstantin Tolkachev.

Issues of social and economic development of the republic, participation of the region in federal programs aimed at the development of public health, education, housing and communal services, road construction were discussed at the meeting.

Rustem Khamitov noted that republic should have resources, investments, including co-financing of major projects from the federal budget for the long-term development.

Speaking about the tasks for the near future, the Head of the Republic outlined the necessity to build new bridges in Ufa, resettlement of dilapidated housing.

Another topic of discussion was preparations for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan foundation.

“Everything that is planned for the jubilee of the republic will be fulfilled,” Rustem Khamitov underlined. “Anniversary events will be held in Moscow too.”
