Bashkiria’s future belongs to competencies, creative and enterprising specialists, youth - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 30 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. On November 30, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, delivers the Annual Address of the State Assembly of the Republic. The head of the region announced the main tasks for increasing the competitiveness of the republic, strengthening its economy.

"The main factor leading to a new quality of the economy is growth of labor productivity. Bashkortostan among the six pilot regions will be included in the relevant federal program. It is necessary to develop the same regional program, envisaging an increase in this indicator by at least 30% at the enterprises-participants by 2025", Rustem Khamitov said.

According to the head of Bashkortostan, today the main driving force for the development of any territory is primarily human, intellectual resources. The future of the republic belongs to competencies, talent of creative and enterprising specialists, young people, capable of providing positive changes in all spheres.

"The level of education, science and culture, the horizon of life aspirations set by it, readiness for innovation is the main factor and the main resource for the next decade to enhance the competitiveness of the republic, strengthen its economy."
