Bashkiria will receive federal support for children's polyclinics reconstruction

UFA, 29 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Russian regions in the next three years will receive 10 billion rubles a year from the federal budget for the reconstruction of children's polyclinics. This was stated by Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Coordination Council for Implementing the National Children’s Strategy.

The President of Russia stressed that it was necessary to increase the availability of medical care for children and improve its quality in a substantive and consistent manner.

According to the head of state, it will take more than 50 billion rubles to carry out the reconstruction of children's polyclinics, their overhaul and equipping with equipment, according to preliminary calculations. Obviously, the regions will not be able to carry out these works only at their own expense.

"Therefore, in the next three years, the bulk of this amount, 10 billion rubles a year, will be provided by the federal budget," Vladimir Putin said.

The head of state instructed the Government, together with the regions, to work out promptly a detailed schedule for the reconstruction and overhaul of children's polyclinics, including polyclinic departments of hospitals, as well as to approve co-financing conditions and rules for selecting polyclinics, taking into account the readiness of the design estimates and, above all, the severity of the problem.
