Vladimir Putin’s news conference is scheduled for December

UFA, 13 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. An annual news conference of Vladimir Putin may be held on December 14, a source close to the administration of the head of state shared with RBC.
This year, the annual news conference of Putin can take place before the Address to the Federal Assembly. The Kremlin is discussing a possibility of moving the Address from December 2017 to 2018. If such a decision is taken, the Address can be delivered in February.
Vladimir Putin holds annual news conferences for Russian and foreign journalists since 2001. The shortest was the first news conference of the head of state: it lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes. In 2008, before Vladimir Putin left for the government, his longest news conference took place - 4 hours and 40 minutes. Then he answered the questions of a record number of journalists - 80 people.
Venues of the news conferences also changed: first they took place in the 14th building of the Kremlin, but since 2012 the events began to be held at the World Trade Center. Vladimir Putin's communication with journalists is traditionally broadcast live on federal TV channels.
