State Duma deputy from Bashkiria asked Russian Railways CEO to assist in Ufa railway station reconstruction completion

UFA, 9 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The State Duma deputy from Bashkortostan Rafael Mardanshin asked the Russian Railways CEO to assist in the speedy completion of the Ufa railway station reconstruction. During the meeting of the United Russia faction, a meeting was held with the president of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov. He spoke about the company's activities, accomplished and planned changes. Parliamentarians were concerned about the development of the railway network, the improvement of rolling stock and the optimization of the electric trains schedule.

The State Duma deputy from Bashkortostan Rafael Mardanshin said that in 2019 the 100th anniversary of our republic's formation would be celebrated. In preparation for the celebration, the reconstruction of the Ufa station complex was started in 2005.

"I would like people coming to our republic see its updated and modern railway station. I ask you to assist in speeding up the completion of this railway complex reconstruction", the deputy said.

Oleg Belozerov said that 1.4 billion rubles had already been allocated for the reconstruction of the station in Ufa. In the first quarter of 2018, an examination is planned, and by the fourth quarter of 2018 all works are expected to be completed.
