Procedures for approving cooperation documents with regions of other countries should be simplified - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 3 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bely at the House of the Republic. As the press service of the Head of the Region reports, the parties discussed various aspects of the Russian MFA Ufa Representative Office work and the prospects for expanding its sphere of activity.

The Head of the Republic noted that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had been working in Bashkortostan for almost 25 years, actively interacting with regional authorities, providing them with the necessary background information and analytical materials. Foreign economic contacts of Bashkortostan, negotiations are underway with representatives of foreign states with its participation.

At the same time, Rustem Khamitov pointed out the necessity to speed up a procedure for approving various cooperation agreements that the republic concluded with the regions of other countries.

“We have some difficulties passing barriers to reconcile our agreements with the regions of the countries with which we work.” “In this part the procedure should be simplified. If the Foreign Ministry supports the regions, then, of course, it would be appreciated by us in the most positive way”.
