Special working group will be engaged in climate change study in Bashkiria Government

UFA, 21 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A special interdepartmental working group will deal with climate change issues in Bashkiria Government. The corresponding order was published today on the official portal of legal information.

Specialists will consider issues of changing climatic conditions in the region. The purpose of the creation of the working group is timely warning and taking measures to mitigate the possible weather negative consequences on the economy of the republic.

The new structure was headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Farhad Samedov. Alfis Gayazov, the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic, was appointed the Deputy Chairman, Aufar Gareyev, the member of the Department of Earth Sciences and Oil and Gas Technologies of the Academy of Sciences RB was appointed the secretary. The group included heads of the ministries of housing and communal services, forestry, health, innovation and industry, agriculture, ecology, Bashkir Met Office, the Main Directorate of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, Rospotrebnadzor and other agencies.
