Bashkiria senator solves international problems in Philippines

UFA, 19 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Senator of the upper house of the Russian parliament Rafail Zinurov is on an official visit to the Republic of the Philippines. The representative of Bashkortostan takes part in the 38th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (AIPA). Rafail Zinurov is a member of the Russian delegation consisting of members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma.

As the Senator from Bashkortostan said, the main agenda of the international summit is the cooperation of the AIPA with the international organization uniting the ten states of Southeast Asia (ASEAN). The partnership of the two organizations is planned to be implemented in various fields, including combating natural disasters and transnational crimes, terrorism and violent extremism, human trafficking, drug trafficking and fuel smuggling.
