Votes cast at municipal elections in Bashkiria are counted. Turnout exceeded 50%

UFA, 11 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. According to preliminary data, voter turnout in the republic was 51.29%, 87,885 voters took part in the voting, the Central Election Commission of the region reported.

In the city of Beloretsk, 23,451 voters cast their votes at the elections of deputies of the City Council, 47.11% of the total number of voters. 10258 voters (31.62%) voted at the elections of deputies of the Council of the city of Birsk. 1013 voters (37.95%) voted at the elections to the Council of the Yumatovo rural settlement of the Ufa district.

On the single voting day, elections were held in the republic for representative bodies of local self-government - 171 electoral campaigns, including three major ones: elections of deputies of the Beloretsk Council; election of deputies of the Birsk Council; elections of deputies of the Umatovo Council of Ufa District and 168 additional election campaigns for the election of deputies to representative bodies of local self-government of various levels.
