Five cities of Bashkiria received more than 22.5 million rubles for parks improvement

In Bashkortostan, the project of United Russia "Small Towns Parks" is implemented in five towns - Belebey, Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk, Uchaly and Kumertau. The total amount of financing for 2017 amounted to more than 22.5 million rubles, of which 18.7 million were allocated from the federal budget, the rest from the republican budget, the regional branch of the party reported.

According to the terms of the project, only small towns with a population of up to 250 thousand inhabitants can become its participants. More than 20 municipalities of the republic fall under this criterion. Those which have not been included in the landscaping list for this year, still have an opportunity to participate, as the project is long-term and is designed for three years.

Total in Russia within the framework of the implementation of the "Small Town Parks" program 694 events were held in the first half of the year, all works will be completed before the end of the year. Such statement was made by the federal coordinator of the party project, the State Duma deputy Vladimir Panov, speaking at a meeting of the presidium of the General Council of the United Russia party, where the results of the federal party projects for the first half of 2017 were summed up.

According to him, the regional coordinators of the party project will personally take part in the opening of the parks after the works completion.

"The first stage of implementation will be completed by the end of the year. Regional coordinators of the "Small Towns Parks" project will personally assess the quality of the works performed, as well as summarize the results of the project in 2017", concluded Vladimir Panov.
