UFA, 7 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at a closing meeting of the spring session of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB. He thanked the deputies for their constructive and active work.

"Our parliament is working professionally. Of course, there are no complaints in this part. In addition to your basic parliamentary duties, sometimes you perform, perhaps even unusual functions, by struggling for funding, financial resources for the territories which elected you", Rustem Khamitov said.

The Head of the Republic noted that the next year elections of the deputies of the State Assembly - the Kurultay RB would be held and preparations for this event should be started already at that moment by actively working with people, and scrutinizing thoroughly all variety of issues relevant to them.

"We have adopted a number of quality solutions that help people survive this economically difficult moment. These are issues related to obtaining resources for the housing acquisition for people with the first child born and being registered in the housing waiting list. We have managed jointly with you to retain benefits for everyone whose children attend kindergartens", stressed Rustem Khamitov.

In his speech, the Head of Bashkortostan touched upon the issues of social and economic development of the republic, outlined the most promising points of growth.

"Our republic is good – it’s powerful and strong. I say this constantly and I call on you – to start your speeches with these theses. We need to build a culture of optimism. The resources themselves do not mean anything. Only people, their social optimism, their desire to move forward, will contribute to achieving success", said Rustem Khamitov. "High technology appears only with high level of optimism. All these modern technology parks, industrial parks, "silicone valleys" are nourished by optimism, by zest for life, creativity. And the deputy corps has an important role in this work, if not decisive one".
