Closing spring session of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan was opened by Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 6 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The closing spring session of the legislative assembly of Bashkortostan was opened by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov. The Head of the Region assessed activities of the parliament and set tasks for the coming year, including taking into account the forthcoming elections of the deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan in 2018.

The agenda of the meeting includes more than 50 issues, 23 of which are related to the consideration of draft bills of the republic.

It is expected that the Minister of Health of Bashkortostan will deliver a report on the agency work in 2016 and the first half of 2017 at the meeting. The Chairman of the State Assembly Konstantin Tolkachev noted that a thorough discussion of this report to be held.

"Many issues are related to the quality of medical services provision and budgetary funds expenditures allocated to the health care. The sums are considerable, and the residents of the republic should have a clear idea on what they are spent", Konstantin Tolkachev commented on the topic.

It is planned to hear and discuss also a report of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in Bashkortostan on observing and protecting the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children in the republic in 2016.

The deputies will consider 15 candidates for appointment to the position of justice of peace in different judicial districts of the republic, and will also decide on appointment of a chairman and auditor of the Control and Accounting Chamber RB. All the candidates were previously considered at the meetings of the committees and the Presidium of the Republican Parliament.

13 bills included in the agenda of the meeting will be considered for the first time. Among them, the draft law "On Amending the Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan "On Beekeeping ". It is aimed at preventing imports to the republic of bee colons with infectious and invasive diseases, preserving the gene pool of bees of the Bashkir breed, creating optimal conditions for their breeding.

The subject of discussion at the plenary session will also be 13 draft federal laws and the program of legislative work of the State Assembly for the autumn session.
