Rustem Khamitov: "Our republic should return in full what belonged to it legally, by law"

UFA, 28 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The day before, the Head of Bashkortostan in his interview with the "Rossiya 24" TV channel told about the significance of proceedings in the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan on the suit of PJSOC Rosneft against Sistema JSFC.

"Our republic should return in full what belonged to it legally, by law. You know the situation with the return of the asset to state ownership, and then the transition of this asset under Rosneft management. The President of the country supported the decision on granting a 25-percent plus one share stake to our republic. This decision was to some extent landmark for Bashkortostan", the Head of the Republic told the television channel.

Rustem Khamitov noted that a large number of people, after taking these decisions, expressed their opinion that justice had triumphed.

"I believe that the return of what rightfully belonged to the republic will be perceived positively in our society. And we can feel this support of people", the Head of the Region said in his interview.

Rustem Khamitov mentioned about the importance of work initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin against corruption in business. The Head of the Region is sure that business processes should be open and transparent.

"From this point of view, today's hearing in the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan is also important. Therefore, I think that the republic is directly interested in ensuring that justice will be served", Rustem Khamitov stressed.
