Konstantin Tolkachev held meeting with members of Kyrgyz parliamentarian official delegation

The Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev met with members of the official delegation of the deputies from Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. The speaker of the regional parliament told the guests in detail about socio-economic development of our republic, experience in establishing the republican legal system and inter-parliamentary cooperation.

"Currently, cooperation agreements have been concluded with 28 parliaments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Such forms of interaction as development and discussion of draft federal laws, exchange of regulatory acts and their projects, methodological and other materials, holding joint conferences, seminars, meetings and consultations on issues of mutual interest are used. The State Assembly establishes ties also at the international level in the "region with the region" format. Just a few days ago, an official visit of the delegation of the Saxon Landtag members of the Free State of Saxony and the Parliamentary Forum of Central and Eastern Europe took place. Earlier, the delegation of the parliament of the Chinese province of Jiangxi paid an official visit to the republic. An agreement was reached on further cooperation, it is planned to sign a corresponding agreement with them", Konstantin Tolkachev said.

The Vice Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Tolonov thanked for the warm welcome and spoke about the activities of the parliament. He noted that Kyrgyzstan attached great importance to the development of relations with the regions of Russia and saw the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in various areas, in particular in the humanitarian sphere and in tourism. Also, the guests were invited to visit their country on a return visit.
