Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev is going to visit Bashkortostan
UFA, 21 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On June 22-23, the Republic of Bashkortostan will be visited by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev. This was reported by the press service of the Head of the Region.
During his visit, a meeting of Rustem Khamitov and Almazbek Atambayev will take place. Also in Ufa within the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Russia a concert of the Kyrgyz Republic actors will take place.
According to the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, today in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin held talks with Almazbek Atambayev, who was in Russia on a state visit.
The topical issues of bilateral relations were discussed during the talks.
Before the beginning of the talks, the official welcoming ceremony took place. The heads of the two states also presented members of their delegations.
As a result of the visit, a package of inter-agency agreements on cooperation was signed. Vladimir Putin and Almazbek Atambayev signed a Declaration on Strengthening the Alliance and Strategic Partnership between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Later, a state dinner was held on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in honour of the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Raisa Atambayeva.
The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the events.
