Bashkiria delegation held working meetings in China with representatives of Anhui and Jiangxi provinces

UFA, 16 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The official delegation of Bashkortostan continues to work in the People's Republic of China under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov. As part of a working visit to Hefei City, Anhui Province, a meeting was held with the Governor Li Guoying, during which the results and prospects of its cooperation with Bashkiria were discussed. There was an active exchange of delegations during the last three years. Thus, at present the youth delegation from Bashkiria participates in the Russian-Chinese Youth Forum in Hefei. The sides also touched upon the development of the legal framework for bilateral cooperation at the inter-municipal and intergovernmental levels. In addition bilateral documents between Bashkortostan organizations and partners from Anhui province were signed within the framework of the meeting.

A Memorandum of Friendly Exchange and Cooperation was signed between the city of Sterlitamak and the city of Huangshan in Anhui Province. An agreement on scientific and educational cooperation is concluded between Bashkir State University and Anhui State University. An agreement on cooperation between the International channel of the Anhui TV Company, State Unitary Enterprise "Bashkortostan" TV and Radio Company and the Centre for the Study of Russia at Anhui University was also signed.

The business program of the visit continued with a meeting with Li Li, vice-governor of Jiangxi Province. During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation between Bashkortostan and Jiangxi Province, as well as implementation of joint investment cooperation projects. In particular, a project on construction of the Ufa-Yangtze International Business and Tourism Centre together with the Chinese company Jeong Ge and the project for construction of a modern greenhouse complex in Yanaul district of Bashkortostan together with Jiujiang OWS Building Materials company have been considered.

Representatives of Jiangxi Province are invited to visit Bashkortostan to participate in the Third Small Business Forum of the regions of the SCO and the BRICS member states in September 2017, as well as in the World Folklore Festival, which will be held in Bashkortostan in 2020, the press service of the republican government reported.
