Bashkortostan delegation participates in 4th Russian-Chinese forum "EXPO-2017"

UFA, 15 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The delegation of Bashkiria led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Head of the Government Office RB Ilshat Tazhitdinov participates in the 4th Russian-Chinese forum "EXPO-2017". The forum is held in the administrative centre of the north-eastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang in Harbin, synchronously with the 28th Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair.

The first such fair was held in 1990, since then it has been held annually, becoming a major bilateral trade and economic event for China and Russia. Basing on this fair the Russian-Chinese EXPO - a state-level exhibition platform was established.

Representatives of our republic met with the official delegation of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, headed by the Vice-Governor Zhu Hexin. The sides discussed issues of cooperation in trade and economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres. Prospects for implementing joint projects were considered. The Chinese partners proposed new investment projects for realization in Bashkortostan - production of building materials with participation of investors from Leshan (a city in Sichuan province), development of the tourist direction.
