Vladimir Putin abolished economic measures against Turkey

UFA, 31 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The Russian President Vladimir Putin by his decree abolished some special economic measures against Turkey, the press service of the Kremlin reports. The amendments lift the restrictions on Turkish companies working in Russian territory and the ban on hiring Turkish citizens for employment in Russia. The RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs is instructed to notify Turkey of the partial renewal of the agreement on Conditions for Reciprocal Travel of Russian and Turkish Citizens.
On May 27, the Presidents of Russia and Turkey held a telephone conversation. They discussed the agreements on lifting restrictions in the trade and economic sphere, as well as on construction of a nuclear power plant and the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
In addition, on May 22, Moscow and Ankara signed a joint statement within the framework of the BSEC Summit on mutual lifting of trade restrictions.
