Crimean delegation is paying official visit to Bashkortostan

UFA, 19 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A delegation of official and business circles of the Republic of Crimea led by the Head of the Region Sergey Aksenov is paying a working visit to Bashkortostan. The program of the visit includes a meeting of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, talks of representatives of the business circles with presentations of the export and investment potential of the republics.

Today, on May 19, the parties are to sign an Action Plan for implementing the Agreement between the Government of the Bashkortostan and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation for 2017-2019, as well as interdepartmental agreements in the field of financial, cultural and investment cooperation. The Action Plan includes 12 major sectors of socio-economic cooperation.

Then the delegation of Crimea will visit Ufa Cable Plant, Pharmstandard-UfaVita OJSC, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Nesterov Museum, Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, and the Monument to Salavat Yulaev.

The visit of the delegation will be completed with a joint concert of the creative teams of the two regions at the Ufa Congress Hall.

The share of the Republic of Crimea in the domestic trade turnover of Bashkortostan is 0.9 percent. In 2015, the volume of trade reached 2.96 billion rubles, with the bulk of this amount accounted for exports. In comparison with 2014, the turnover increased by 175.6 percent due to the export of food products from the republic (milk and cream, butter) and technical purposes products (gasoline, diesel fuel).
