Bashkortostan delegation composition to World Youth and Student Festival in Sochi is determined

UFA, 19 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkortostan, a delegation of 200 participants and 50 volunteers is determined to participate in the World Youth and Student Festival in Sochi. The forum will be held in October 2017. Meetings are held with university students to popularize the festival in the republic. The candidates for regional public ambassadors, including well-known figures of culture and sport, were approved.

The Senator Liliya Gumerova, together with the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Andrey Ivanuta, took part in the meetings dedicated to the preparations for the World Festival. During the meeting with the Deputy Chairmen of the Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov and Galina Karelova, issues of participation of Bashkortostan youth in this festival were discussed.

The Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov warmly recalled the All-Russian Youth Conference on Intellectual Property, which was held in Ufa in April 2016. More than 300 young inventors and scientists from all over Russia, from China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan became its participants.

Liliya Gumerova noted that the tradition of holding a youth forum on intellectual property would be continued this year. As part of the festival in Sochi, the Federation Council, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the World Intellectual Property Organization, Rospatent and N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University plans to hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference "21st Century: Youth of Intellect".
