Bashkortostan will be visited by Crimean delegation

UFA, 17 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On May 18-19, a delegation of official and business circles of the Republic of Crimea led by the Head of the Region Sergey Aksenov will arrive in Bashkortostan with a working visit. It will include members of the republican government and heads of Crimean enterprises interested in cooperation with Bashkortostan.

The program of the visit includes a working meeting of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, negotiations of representatives of business circles with presentations of the export and investment potential of the republics.

During the visit, it is planned to sign an Action Plan to implement the Agreement between the Government of Bashkortostan and the Council of Ministers of Crimea on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation for 2017-2019, as well as interdepartmental agreements in the field of financial, cultural and investment cooperation .

In addition, the program provides for visits to industrial enterprises, universities, social and cultural facilities. The visit of the delegation will be completed with a joint concert of the creative teams of the two regions at the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.

The share of the Republic of Crimea in the domestic trade turnover of Bashkortostan is 0.9 percent. In 2015, the volume of trade reached 2.96 billion rubles, with the bulk of this amount accounted for exports. In comparison with 2014, the turnover increased by 175.6 percent due to the export of food products from the republic (milk and cream, butter) and technical purposes products (gasoline, diesel fuel).

As part of the activities to support the Republic of Crimea, all-round assistance from Bashkortostan was rendered to the Belogorsky district.
