Russian Government simplified procedure for obtaining an insurance pension

UFA, 12 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Government made changes in the rules for calculating the length of pensionable service to establish insurance pensions. In particular, there is a simplified procedure for confirming the periods of care for a disabled person of the group I, a disabled child or a person who has reached the age of 80, TASS reports.

As explained on the website of the Cabinet, the law introduced provisions that establish features of inclusion of the relevant periods in the pensionable service period and their confirmation. Also, procedures for collecting confirmatory information are also changed to ensure the most complete reporting.

"A simplified procedure for confirming the periods of care for a group I disabled, a disabled child or a person who has reached the age of 80 has been established for able-bodied persons who received monthly compensatory and (or) monthly payments. These periods will be confirmed by the information of individual (personified) reporting", the document states. The information is entered in accordance with a decision of a body responsible for provision of pensions to the person who is rendered care.
