Rustem Khamitov met with Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Boris Dubrovsky

UFA, 26 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On April 25, within the framework of an official visit of Bashkortostan delegation to the Chelyabinsk region, a meeting of the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov and the Governor of the region Boris Dubrovsky took place. Issues of strengthening business cooperation between the regions were discussed.

"We have prepared for your arrival and formed some new ideas for our mutual development. We have good-neighbourly relations. I hope that this work will give a new impetus to the development of our cooperation," said Boris Dubrovsky. "Our economies are not competitive, but complementary. There is oil refining in your region, and here we have metallurgy. It balances our economies and mutually supplements them. This is the case when there is synergy".

"We have come to close, native people. This friendship connected our entities a long time ago, and now it is growing," Rustem Khamitov said. "The trade turnover between our subjects is divided exactly by half: we receive from you products for 20 billion rubles and we deliver you products for the same 20 billion rubles. Of course, these are good figures for us. And in terms of trade with the subjects of the Russian Federation the Chelyabinsk region is in the first place for us. Thus, friendship, trade turnover, industrial relations - all, of course, is very impressive. We will continue keeping that effort".
