Konstantin Tolkachev will hold session of Russian Legislators Commission on National Security Issues

UFA, 24 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Speaker of the regional parliament Konstantin Tolkachev will hold a session of the Commission of the Council of Legislators of Russia on legislative support of national security and counteracting corruption. The event will take place in Tauride Palace today, on April 24.
The head of the regional parliament takes part in the activities of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation under the Federal Assembly in St. Petersburg.
The main event of the day will be a session with participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Federation Council Chairman Valentina Matviyenko and the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. The first item on the agenda of the session will be the issue "On improvement of anti-corruption legislation". The speech by Konstantin Tolkachev is scheduled for this topic. The Chairman of the State Assembly RB intends to announce a number of proposals on improving the legislation in this sphere, the press service of the republican parliament reports.
During the meeting of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation, three issues are planned to be discussed: "Legislative support of the state policy in the field of regulating trade and import substitution", "Improving implementation of parliamentary control at the federal and regional levels", "On the report regarding the status and main directions for the Russian legislation improvement in the sphere of state regional policy in the Russian Federation".
The Council of Legislators is an advisory body set up in May 2012 to share experience and interaction between the federal chambers and regional parliaments. It includes speakers and vice-speakers of the State Duma and the Federation Council, as well as heads of legislative bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
