Industrial production growth rate in Bashkortostan is higher than national average for last three years

UFA, 20 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/.The last three years the industrial production growth rate is higher in Bashkortostan than the Russian average. This was noted during the next annual report of the Government RB for 2016, which was delivered by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov at the plenary session of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
According to the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov, in the sphere of industrial production, the activities were aimed at promoting investment innovation, increasing output of import-substituting products, solving industrial cluster infrastructure issues and attracting federal funding for implementation of priority projects.
"At the end of 2016, the industrial production index in the region was 102.6 percent. It was managed to exceed the target benchmark. Five enterprises of Bashkortostan signed investment agreements with the Government within the framework of state support of investment projects aimed at creating new production facilities, reconstruction, technical re-equipment, development of new products. The total investment volume for these projects should amount to almost 90 billion rubles. About three thousand new jobs will be created.
In 2016, implementation of four industrial investment projects totaling 58 billion rubles was completed, with creation of more than 600 jobs. The largest of them is commissioning of the Salavat combined cycle gas turbine unit where investments amounted to over 28.5 billion rubles. In 2016, within the framework of cooperation with the federal industry development fund, five of our enterprises used state support in the form of a preferential five-percent loan for 1.4 billion rubles, which allowed them to implement projects worth 6 billion rubles. The total number of contracts concluded in 2016 exceeded the level of 2015 by 17 percent, their sum increased by 23 percent," the Prime Minister RB said.
