Head of Bashkortostan will present report on Government's activities in 2016

UFA, 12 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The report of the Head of Bashkortostan on the results of activities of the Government RB in 2016 will open a plenary session of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The agenda of the next meeting of the republican parliament was approved the day before. It is planned to be held on April 20, the press service of the State Assembly informs.

In addition, the deputies will hear a report on the work of the Control Chamber of Bashkortostan in 2016 and the report of the Business Ombudsman in the republic on observing the rights and legitimate interests of business entities in 2016.

Among the draft bills submitted for consideration by the deputies the Speaker of the regional parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev singled out those aimed at improving legislation on municipal and state civil service. It concerns the draft laws "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Sphere of Municipal Service" and "On Amending Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan "On State Civil Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan".

"Amendments were made in the sphere of education. They predetermine several statuses of higher education: bachelor's degree, specialty, master's degree. In order to occupy the leading positions of the municipal and state service, the higher education degree should be at least specialty and or magistracy. Bachelor's degree is not suitable in this case. The draft laws were focused on regulating this provision", said Konstantin Tolkachev.

At the plenary session, the deputies will also consider candidatures for positions of justices of peace in selected judicial districts of the republic. In addition, 13 draft federal laws and a legislative initiative will be discussed. The agenda of the meeting includes 38 items. Of these, 14 concern draft laws of the republic, among which eight are proposed for consideration for the first time, the rest will be considered in the second and third readings.
