Liliya Gumerova: "Ufa will pass a baton of intellectual property youth conference to Sochi"

The Senator from Bashkortostan made a presentation of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi at the Forum of Young Parliamentarians in Dhaka. The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova takes part in the activities of the 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Bangladesh.

Within the framework of the festival, the Federation Council, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the World Intellectual Property Organization, Rospatent and N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University plans to hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference "21st Century: Youth of Intellect". In 2016, a similar forum was held in the city of Ufa and gathered in the capital of Bashkortostan about 300 young scientists, identified hundreds of talented young researchers in Russia.

"The conference in Ufa gave a powerful impulse for further development of scientific and technical creativity among young people. Not only young scientists from Russia showed interest in the conference, but also representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other foreign countries. Our youth forum on intellectual property, which will be held this year within the framework of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, will bring together about 200 young inventors from around the world," Liliya Gumerova said.

"The Chairman of the Forum of Young MPs of the IPU, Sayed Al Remeyti, representing the UAE Parliament, in his speech called for all countries to take the most active part in the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi", Liliya Gumerova marked.
