Republic of Sakha official delegation visited Bashkiria representative office in Moscow

In Moscow, the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation was visited by the official delegation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), which included Yuri Kupriyanov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) under the President of the Russian Federation, his first deputy Yuri Zabolev and the Deputy Director General of the "Yakut Permanent Mission in Moscow" Rustem Nasyrov. The results and prospects for the interregional relations development within the framework of the current Cooperation Agreement between Bashkortostan and Yakutia were discussed at the meeting with the participation of the Ambassador RB under the President of the Russian Federation - Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB, Artur Shainurov.
The main areas of cooperation between the two regions were initially secured by a bilateral agreement signed in 2011. The parties expressed readiness to continue joint work on preparation of the next action plan within the framework of the existing agreement implementation. "The exchange of experience between Yakutia and Bashkortostan in the field of agriculture, education, culture and sports gives visible results. There are also connections in other industries. Yakutia counts on continuing further mutually beneficial cooperation and effective interaction between our regions", Yuri Kupriyanov said. The plan of measures on bilateral cooperation between the republics in the period until 2020 is scheduled for signing by the heads of regions in the Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Moscow. They will be held in the Russian capital in December 2017.
