Konstantin Tolkachev arrived in Strasbourg to participate in Local and Regional Authorities Congress of European Council

The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev participates in the 32nd plenary session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. The plenary session will open today, March 28, the press service of the regional parliament reported. Over the next three days, a number of topical international issues are planned to be discussed: migration policy, local and regional voting rights, a fact-finding mission regarding the situation with local elected representatives in Turkey, free access to public data, local democracy in Iceland, rights of Russian-speaking citizens residing permanently in Estonia. Within the framework of the session, a meeting of members of Congress with the delegation of Germany is planned.
