Uzbekistan delegation of is paying a visit to Bashkiria

UFA, 16 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A delegation of the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan is on an official visit to Bashkortostan. The delegation is headed by Khimmat Okbutayev, the region's khokim, accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov. The main purpose of the visit is to expand trade and economic cooperation with Bashkortostan, to search for Bashkir partners, increase the foreign trade turnover of the parties, explained the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Ufa, Vener Galiakbarov.

The program includes a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan. It is planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB, as well as to conduct negotiations in B2B format, meet with representatives of the business community.

Within the framework of the visit, representatives of the delegation will visit the 27th AgroComplex International Exhibition, "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan", "Ufimsky" industrial park.

On Friday, March 17, the guests will get acquainted with activities of Bashinkom company and the Institute of Petroleum Refining RB.

The official visit will end with a tasting at the Bashkir Honey House and evaluation of the "Uzbekistan" trading house activities.
