Representatives of Russian MFA in Ufa are celebrating Diplomatic Service Day

UFA, 10 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Today, a professional holiday is celebrated in all the Russian foreign offices and representative offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Russian Federation subjects. The central event will be a gala evening to be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Ufa Vener Galiakbarov shared with Bashinform News Agency what progress had been reached by the Russian diplomacy.

Due to the diplomatic service Russia could reaffirm and strengthen its status as one of the key guarantors of security and stability in the modern world in a difficult political situation, lead the people who profess the rule of international law, justice, adhere to collective approaches to solving pressing global issues.

Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contributes to realization of an independent and constructive foreign policy of our country in line with the historical traditions of Russia.

"Our diplomats are working in Switzerland, Qatar, Iceland, India, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries," said Vener Galiakbarov.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman especially marked the Russian diplomats - natives of Bashkortostan: the Assistant Secretary General of the UN, Rashid Khalikov, Ambassador at Large MFA of Russia Azamat Kulmuhametov, Deputy Director of the Department of MFA RF Nail Latypov, the Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Yuriy Isakov (2008-2016), veterans of diplomatic service Rishat Khalikov and Zinnur Mardanov.
