Four pilot zones of "Safe City" complex are identified in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Development in Bashkortostan of the "Safe City" hardware-software complex was discussed at a meeting with the Chief Federal Inspector Michael Zakomaldin.
To date, its implementation is at the design stage. A "road map" of priority measures is prepared. Four pilot areas for construction of experimental plots in the cities of Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat and Ufa region are identified, the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector reports.
The cost of works as part of the "Safe City" project is 20 million rubles, and establishment of the regional integration platform is estimated by experts as 150 million rubles. At present, the authors of the state program are working with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic on the issue of funds allocation.
Michael Zakomaldin stressed that the program had been implemented in the republic since 2013, and "now it is necessary to strengthen efforts on practical realization of the "Safe City "program in the territory of Bashkortostan".
The "Safe City" program is a set of software, hardware and organizational measures to ensure video surveillance and safety, as well as to manage utilities objects and other distributed objects in a single information space.
