Konstantin Tolkachev named Bashneft’s merge with Rosneft one of main events of outgoing year

UFA, 23 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev named Bashneft’s merge with Rosneft as one of the main events in 2016. He stated this on December 22, at a press conference on the results of the year.

"A very powerful, strong company entered our market. There are more pluses here than minuses. Hopefully soon we will feel changes for the better that will be associated with the emergence of the largest global oil company in our market and production areas", said Konstantin Tolkachev.

The Speaker of the Republican Parliament marked among significant events a stop in the economy recess.

"The Bashkir economy is not autonomous from the Russian one. We cannot create a single island of prosperity, when everything will go down. We are connected with all subjects with thousands of threads. We have experienced sanctions, lack of demand for our products in some cases. Now we will ride out it", said the Chairman of the State Assembly RB.

The third key event of the year, according to Konstantin Tolkachev, was the election of deputies of the State Duma. According to the regional parliament speaker, every effort was made to make this process as transparent as possible, to prevent violations of the electoral legislation.

"None of the complaints about the violation has resulted in a lawsuit. It is very important for us", said Konstantin Tolkachev.
