Bashkiria State Duma deputies discussed main provisions of Vladimir Putin’s Address

UFA, 23 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Ufa the State Duma deputies from Bashkortostan discussed the Address of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly. Lawmakers gathered yesterday at a round table to consider the main provisions and define directions of their further work. The meeting was held in the regional executive committee of the "United Russia" party.
The event was initiated by the State Duma deputy, member of the Committee for Budget and Taxes Ildar Bikbaev.
Two-year tax holidays for self-employed people have caused a particularly heated discussion at the round table. As the deputy Alexei Izotov said, tax holidays for 2017 and 2018 had already been adopted. Now, during this time, according to the MP, it should be monitored how willingly citizens come out of the shadow. It relates to those who, for example, are engaged in tutoring or babysitting.
The member of the State Duma Committee for Public Associations and Religious Organizations Ramzil Ishsarin made a presentation on support of socially oriented NGOs and introduction of legislative initiatives that contribute to increase the efficiency of their work.
The State Duma deputy Zugura Rakhmatullina dedicated her report to the education and culture issues.
"We have a law prohibiting closing rural libraries without considering the opinion of the population. Schools are also under protection. There is an idea now to protect the rural municipal recreation clubs", she said.
As noted by the regional branch of the party, a discussion of the Address took place in the framework of the regional deputies’ week in Bashkortostan, which will last until December 29. These days MPs will hold a reception of citizens, meet with people and party active members.
