Bashkiria will receive 178 million rubles for roads construction

UFA, 15 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Bashkortostan will receive 178.2 million rubles for construction of roads. The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved the allocation of transfers provided to the regions for financial support of regional programs in the road sector.

Intergovernmental transfers in the amount of 8.7 billion rubles are distributed among the budgets of 83 subjects of the Russian Federation. This will allow regional budgets to compensate shortfall in income due to the tax deduction for the transport tax for the year of 2016. The funds were provided for in the federal budget of 2016.

As explained on the website of the Cabinet, the funds will be used for financing of regional programs in the sphere of road facilities, as well as for the implementation of public-private partnership projects, construction, reconstruction and repair of unique artificial road constructions according to the decisions of the Russian Government under the "Road Maintenance" sub-program of the "Transport System Development " state program.
