Rustem Khamitov: "The President has paid great attention to daily life of our citizens"

UFA, 2 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On December 1, in Moscow the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the announcement ceremony of the Annual Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly.

“Vladimir Putin has paid great attention to the everyday life of our citizens. These are very important issues of social sphere, education, culture, health”, Rustem Khamitov commented on.

The Head of the Region noted the importance of the thesis made by the President on the necessity of free economic development.

“In this case, all means are good, which allow to boost this momentum. The current stability is good, but we need growth within three to five percent. There is almost everything for this: markets, resources, banking community and funds. But it is quite a difficult task to balance all these tools.”

Rustem Khamitov said that the republic would face many important challenges to address issues in the social sphere. Thus, up to 2025 it is planned to eliminate completely the afternoon shift in republican schools.

“We have planned construction of two large objects - oncological and cardiological centres. And we need about 6-7 billion rubles for this till 2019-2020. The federal centre has promised to help us. If this support is in the form of transfers, we will sure to accept it,” said the Head of Bashkortostan. “We pay additional salary to doctors in rural areas. But we need not only doctors there, we need paramedics. Since 2017 approximately 100-150 people will be directed to the countryside with material assistance in the amount of 250-400 thousand rubles. The paramedical staff is also interested in such support.”
