UFA, 25 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Vladimir Putin will make his annual Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly on December 1.
This Address will be the 23rd in the recent history of Russia and the 13th for Putin, TASS reports. By tradition, the event begins at noon Moscow time in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. In addition to the parliamentarians of the State Duma and the Federation Council, members of the Government, Chairmen of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, the Attorney General, the heads of the Central Election Commission, the Accounting Chamber and the Public Chamber, regional leaders and other top-level officials, heads of major denominations and representatives of the media are invited at the announcement of the Address. The President’s speech will be television and radio broadcast.
The duty of the President to read out the Address, which assesses the situation in the country and the main directions of domestic and foreign policy, is determined by the Constitution.
