Bashkortostan was named leader in NGOs access to budget funds at meeting with Vladimir Putin

UFA, 24 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Bashkortostan was named a leader in the access of NGOs to the budget funds. This was announced at a meeting of the Russian President with the members of the Government by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Evgeny Elin. The main topic was the results of the Presidential Address implementation to the Federal Assembly.

"In some regions, the 10 percent level of socially oriented organizations’ access to budget funds allocated for the provision of services has already been achieved and even exceeded. We can mention among the leaders the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Perm Region, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District ", said the Deputy Minister.

The Russian Government expects that a package of measures to ensure the access of socially oriented non-profit organizations to the budget funds allocated for the provision of social services to the population will be implemented in full over the next year. Their volume will amount to 10 percent of the funds provided for the execution of relevant regional and municipal programs.

"Already since January 1, 2017, any non-profit organization complied with the specified requirements, will be able to apply for inclusion in the register of organizations-executors and to receive such status within two to four months. The organizations will receive two-year grants and will be able to sign two-year contracts for the provision of social services to the population", said Evgeny Yelin.
