Konstantin Tolkachev told how children's suicides issue was addressed in Bashkiria

UFA, 21 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Speaker of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev told about the measures taken in the republic for the prevention of children’s suicides. This question was asked by the tenth grader of one of the regional schools during the video reception of the United Russia.

"This is a very difficult problem. It will not be solved just by adoption of a law, it is complex. Pedagogical and legal resources should be involved there. Close contacts with families should be kept, because suicides are very difficult to prevent through only one method", underlined Konstantin Tolkachev.

The regional parliament speaker said that a commission on this issue had been established in the State Assembly. It is headed by Yumabika Ilyasova.

"We will use all the opportunities to isolate our youth from these sites and their influence. Already 130 sites, which discussed the theme of life termination, were closed. We know that criminal cases were initiated in a number of regions in Russia, including in our republic. Maybe it will change the situation somehow, " said Konstantin Tolkachev.

The United Russia plans to solve this problem jointly with the "Young Guard". The youth organization has large resources to guide teenagers in a positive way.
