Ufa entered top three Russian cities as best accomplished capital

UFA, 11 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Ufa became one of the three cities-winners as the best accomplished city. The Russian Government has published the results of the All-Russian competition for the title "The Best Accomplished City (Rural Settlement) of Russia" held in 2015.

Among the cities that are administrative centres of the Russian Federation, the capital of Bashkortostan took the second place. The first was Stavropol, Khabarovsk shared the second place with Ufa and Krasnoyarsk closed the top three winners.

Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Russian Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation to hand over awards to the winners.

The contest is held annually in six categories. The competition is aimed at stimulating activity of local governments in the development of housing and communal services and enhancing accomplishment of the territories.
