Bashkortostan State Assembly is leading in legislative initiatives for five years - Rustem Khamitov

According to the results of the last five-year period the State Assembly of Bashkortostan ranks first among the regional parliaments in the number of brought in legislative initiatives. This was announced by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov during a meeting with newly elected deputies of the State Duma of the 7th convocation on September 28.

"During the working period of the previous 6th convocation State Duma, our republican parliament introduced more than 60 bills. Eight of them passed all stages and readings, having received the status of federal laws. Therefore, it is necessary to continue promoting the bills introduced by the State Assembly - Kurultai RB in the State Duma", Rustem Khamitov said.

Today, another 19 bills from the republic are under consideration in the Duma. The Head of Bashkortostan said that the previous convocation deputies had conducted purposeful work on attracting budgetary funds under the federal programs. This work should be continued, according to the Head of the Region.
