Russian CEC published results of State Duma elections - 15 deputies will represent Bashkiria
UFA, 23 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. 15 deputies representing four parliamentary parties will represent the interests of Bashkortostan inhabitants in the State Duma. The Russian Central Election Commission established the overall results of the deputies elections to the State Duma of the seventh convocation.
The most number of mandates in the region was received by the United Russia party - eleven. Six people were elected by party lists: the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, Inga Yumasheva, Rafael Mardanshin, Rima Batalova, Ramzil Ishsarin and Farid Ganiev. Another five United Russia members won in single-member constituencies: Pavel Kachkaev, Ildar Bikbaev, Zugura Rakhmatullina, Zarif Baiguskarov and Alexei Izotov.
Rifat Shaikhutdinov, the Head of the Federal Political Committee "Civic Platform" won in Neftekamsk in single-member constituency No.6.
Alexander Yushchenko – from the Communist Party, Gadzhimurad Omarov – from "Just Russia" and Ivan Sukharev – from the Liberal Democratic Party were elected to the State Duma from our republic by party lists.
Bashkortostan was represented by 16 deputies elected by party lists in the previous structure of the State Duma. Of these, 12 - deputies were from the United Russia, two - from the Communist Party, one deputy – from the Liberal Democratic Party and the "Just Russia" party.
The elections are declared as taken place, and the election results as valid. Total, 450 deputies were elected to the State Duma of the seventh convocation: 225 – from the federal electoral district and 225 - from single-member constituencies.
