Rustem Khamitov has refused from State Duma deputy mandate
UFA, 20 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has refused from the Russian Federation's State Duma deputy mandate. He stated this at a briefing dedicated to the results of the elections.
“As for my plans, I want to continue my work in the republic. People elected me the Head of Bashkortostan only two years ago. I cannot let them down. And I never have thought about going somewhere, resigning early,” said the Head of the Region. “I fully understand that the work will be complicated. There are many unresolved issues. In fact, there are hidden themes, problems that need to be resolved. I plan to go on working, fulfilling the undertaken commitments. Actually, I still have three years of work before new elections. That is why I am sure that I'm going to do what depends on me to the benefit of our Bashkortostan, inhabitants of our republic. And together, we will take on the world. Everything will be good, everything will be fine here.”
